"Melody’s passion wasn’t always to sing gospel music. R&B was her first love but it was through her life experiences where she had a close encounter with God and decided that she would use the gift that he gave her for his glory. Melody’s passion now is to simply sing and write songs with a message that can change lives. "

 "On March 2, 2012, Melody released her first debut single “God is in Control” on itunes and many other online music retailers and subsequently won Best New Artist at the Boston Angelic Awards that same year. "

We got a chance to hear it a couple months ago while styling her for her this cover shoot and absolutely fell in love with it (Can't tell you how many times we made her play it over for us lol)!
