Oh winter!

Hope you guys did your best staying warm this past week. With these freezing temperatures in New England we were definitely fantasizing of some place warm and cozy......since that didn't happen we turned to our closet for some help ;-) Groundhog day is Saturday the 2nd so let's just say this groundhog better NOT see it's shadow, last week was enough! But until then......

Keep Calm and STAY WARM Poster

HIStory...

Hey everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the Inauguration as much as we did. Every aspect of it was inspiring, so today we decided to share some of our favorite moments with you all. Such a great way to start off the week. Enjoy!

Inauguration of President Barack Obama
Obama takes his oath!
Beyonce singing the National Anthem (Some are reporting that she lip sang...what do you think?)
Michelle Obama in custom made Tom Browne coat and custom boots by  Reed Krakoff
Look how much the Obama girls have grown! They seem to be quite inseparable.  Love the sisterly love ;-)
Comrades
Taking it all in..“I want to take a look one more time, I’m not going to see this again.”- President Obama
The Obama's saluting the crowd!
Charismatic Joe and Dr. Jill looking perfectly chic (A lot of talk about Mrs. O, but Jill has got a classy style of her  own don't ya think?
"Obama's ON FIRE!!!"
Jason Wu did it again! Which do you prefer?
Jennifer Hudson looking stunning!
True love is always transparent
Basking in love as well....
To top it off, this all happened on the 50th anniversary of the march on Washington where MLK delivered his famous "I have a dream speech" Talk about coming full cirlcle! WHAT A DAY!! History has been written.....

Introducing HAITIANISTA of the month!!

As you all may know, style is something everyone interprets differently, which is exactly what makes fashion so intriguing! So, we are very excited to introduce "Haitianista of the month" as a segment on our blog, to create a platform for others to showcase their own style, and inspire us all. Fashion is about claiming it (however you may define style), making it your own, and strutting it with confidence! Be sure to answer our poll to the right of the page to let us know what you think! :-)

We would love to know who all you other Haitianistas are (we're quite sure we're not the only ones!).
Send us an email letting us know
why you are a HAITIANISTA! See details below:

HAPPY FRIDAY to you all!!!

New Year, New Beginnings

So here we are with our first blog post of many! We are very excited to be starting this new blogging venture right at the top of the New Year. A year from now, it will be great to see how we have evolved.

In our about page we give you a bit of insight about our family, so today we decided to share our 2012 holiday photos with you. One person missing is our younger brother Ralph who was sick. Prior to taking these, it had been a while since we took photos as a family, so this past holiday our friend Valerie Anselme did the honor of taking some for us (Check out her website here).

We did not want to do the traditional Christmas colors so we chose a maroon/burgundy theme. Overall, the photos turned out great! Enjoy and Happy New Year!
