This snow just WILL NOT let up here in New England. I mean I am a Bostonian but this is getting to be too much! :( I love my warmer months, probably because i'm a June baby! But we cannot let the snow stop us from doing what we love, so i'm giving you a taste of winter and spring in New England.

Will you be my VALENTINE?

Hey guys it's Cassan! Just wanted to say HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to you all!!! Hope you're all spending it with the ones you love most. My significant other is out of the country now, so the other day I asked Nemiah if she would be my Valentine, and her response was "SURE MOM"! How cute! I love that girl. No matter what she will always be my #1 Valentine. This world has been consumed with so much hate, but if we each make it a point to spread the love of God, the world will be a much better place! It's Friday so enjoy this love-filled day and don't forget to spread a little love. Here are some pics of me and my sweet Valentine! XOXO

HAUTIE of the month: Behind the lens

Hey y’all! What used to be ‘Haitianista of the Month’ will now be called ‘Hautie of the Month’. Although this feature on our blog was open to all, the title was a bit misleading, so we decided to change the name to open it up to everyone. Last year we did not stick to our monthly submission goal, but of course with the New Year ALL is possible! Introducing the first ‘Hauttie’ of 2014, Valerie Anselme, the gorgeous woman behind the ‘Haitianistas’ lens. Since Val is always the one snapping photos, we decided to switch the roles and snap a few shots of her, so here they are:
