Bold Stripes

Although I was away celebrating my best friends graduation this Mother's Day weekend, I was sure to leave my mom a token of my appreciation. This holiday is so special to me because if it weren't for our mother's where would half of us be, right? My mom came to this country from Haiti at the age of 18. Like most immigrants, she came with only the clothes on her back, a few English words under her belt, and created a life for her family. As I get older I realize how hard it must have been to accomplish all this and admire my mom for her strength and perseverance to make it in a foreign country. I hope you all enjoyed Mother's Day with your precious mother's and remember to show love and appreciation to your mommy's everyday.

Utility-Chic

After a pretty cool week temperature wise, it was great to enjoy temps in the upper 70s this past weekend. I don't know about you, but higher temps seem to bring out the best in me. I'm wearing my new favorite utility jumpsuit from HM that I scored for only $19.95! It can be worn a number of ways. Here I chose to play it up with some heels and added leather accents to bring some edge to my look. I could see myself rocking this with a baseball cap and some cute sneakers for a chill weekend look. It's super light and perfect for this Spring weather. Back like we never left!

Hey y'all! So it's been a while since our latest post. Hope you don't think we intentionally left you craving for more posts. Earlier this year we moved into our new home which took an entire year to renovate!! It was pretty difficult to get dressed being that 90-95 percent of our wardrobe was stored and nearly impossible to get to, lol. As you can imagine, that made keeping up with our blog that much harder, BUT fear not because we're back and super excited to keep you posted on the latest trends! Enjoy!

IT'S HALF TIME!

Happy Friday Everyone! Hope you all had a great week. I know it's been a while, but life has been throwing us lemons(in a good way), so we've been making lots of lemonade lately (LOL), which leaves us little to no room to blog, but life must go on, right? So it's July and we're already half way through the year. Can you believe it? I always like to take the time to evaluate and track my progress. So far this year has been an incredible journey, however, there's LOTS to do before years end! So cheers to you wherever you are at this half way mark and finish strong! CIAO! :-)
